Flemington Cup-week Carnival So Far

Flemington Cup-week Carnival So Far

Hi Members, here’s a quick update on the strategies that are possibly in play by some members during cup-week. The main strategy is showing 139% pto.
Some are long-term strategies and others have been explained with rules and examples in more recent newsletters and the intro-pak

Elite Filters

The main strategy has had seven bets so far for three winners (42%): Kemalpasa $5.00, Fiesta $7.00 and Purple Sector $2.30.

Bet $ 550, Return $1,315,

Profit $765 (+139%)

Long-shot Place Plan

15 qualifying bets for four place returns: Pride Of Jenni $4.30, Ripper Rita $5.90, Confrontational $3.40, Sirius Suspect $5.30.

Bet $1500, Return $1890

Profit $390 (+ 26%)

Flem-X Plan

That “…small fun bank…” for betting on the lower rated runners during cup-week has had 2 winners from 30 so far: September Run $4.40 and Outrageous $10. It has got some catching up to do on Final Day. Most of the rated winners have been in the top-2 so far this carnival (45% top-2 winners : races)

Multi Betting

The Multi results spreadsheet showing all bets up to Oaks day is online (members/results)

Exacta, Trifecta and First-4 punters have really cleaned up so far.

Exactas: 21 bets for 9 successful Exactas (43%) @ $74 average div for $1.00

$100 Flexi Exacta: Bet $2100, Return $2775. $675 Profit $ 675

Trifectas: 21 bets for 9 successful Trifectas (43%) @ $617 average div.

$100 Flexi Trifecta: Bet $2100, Return $3304, $1204 Profit

First-4: 21 bets for nine successful First Fours @ $9,105 average div.

$100 Flexi First-4: Bet $2100, Return $5631. $3531 Profit

Multi Total ($100 flexi) Bet $6,300, Return $11,710, Profit $5,410

Note, we eliminated the three rated races with less than 9 runners in accordance with the spreadsheet. All three were successful but they do not pay their way long-term.

Colour Coding

Although virtually irrelevant during the carnival, we have kept the colour coding going. I have uploaded the up-to-date Colour-Coding spreadsheet to your results page.

Despite the degree of difficulty, we have found 18 of the 24 rated-race winners (75%) within the green runners. That’s better than the 70% green strike-rate overall. A level stake on all 112 green horses from those 18 carnival races (not recommended) is actually in profit (+ $1160 for level $100 bets).

All really good signs for when we get into the normal racing.

Nearly There!

Just one more day and we will be back into bread and butter racing but, having said that, there looks like being multiple Elite-Filter bets at Flemington tomorrow.

It is nice to have made solid profits so far this week. The multis have been awesome and whatever happens tomorrow, the Elite-Filters will finish in profit which is a bonus for cup-week.

We are doing everything in our power to make sure we add to those profits tomorrow and are looking forward with great enthusiasm to the post-spring racing.

Thanks for the great feedback

Regards

Larry
