We are finding it hard to keep a lid on this.
Our brief was to develop a powerful way to combine our four proven winning strategies into a one-plan, one-bank strategy that has high-action, high-profit and would appeal to all members.
It is out-performing the Mel Elite-Filters ( $2,849 profit in the same period) and has twice the action.
Look at these Mel Combo statistics!

Combo Bet Scale
Our work in designing a logical and simple betting scale for the Melbourne Combo Strategy is complete.
We have spent a lot of time going through the hundreds of possible permutations that this multi-plan concept has thrown at us.
We have decided on a simple four-tier scale (2.5%, 2.0%, 1.5%, 1.0%) calculated as per this table:
Example (Refer to actual listings from last Saturday below):
Thousand Wishes qualified for two of the four possible strategies, Elite-Filter $130 and Grade% Plan $60.
Check that info against the table above:
“Combo Combined Bet Total “ = $190
“Number Of Plans Qualified For” = 2
Therefore, “Bet % of Bank” = 1.50% ($10k bank = $150)
Future raceday lists will look like this (Last Saturday’s Actual Bets)
Spreadsheet-using members will no doubt find their own improvements and some will surely come up with a more sophisticated bet-scale but the four tier scale above is perfect for raceday simplicity and bank stability during runs of outs. When you study the lists of results, please look closely at the runs of outs.
Here is a meeting by meeting look at the Mel Combo plan in action.
Remember, master spreadsheet users know that the four contributing plans have been live and listed along the way – before the event.
The only change after the event is the addition of the result.
In other words, these results are audited by the most important auditor of all, fellow Elite members.
