Jockey Analysis for Elite Top-Rated Ratio Strategy Betting

We backed three Top-Rated Ratio winners from eight bets at Flemington for a very acceptable $662 net profit on the day.
For the second week in a row we have had a track bias that has eliminated any chance of swoopers coming down the outside.

Last week Caulfield had a rail movement from 9m the previous week to true and the only winner to come wider than the previous meeting’s rails position and win was our Larry’s Best, Avilius. Kerrin had to cut the corner to get that win.

At Flemington yesterday the rail movement was the same (9m to true) although it was several weeks between meetings. The inside 9m was again clearly better going and all the winners were on that going. Even the straight race winners raced on the inside of the field.
At both meetings that wiped out any chance for several of our Top-Rated selections.

So, to get five Top-Rated winners from 15 at those two meetings and make strong level stakes top-rated profit is a bonus. Both days could have been disastrous but for a huge effort by Avilius and a smashing win by In Her Time. Both happened to be the biggest Top-Ratio and Top-Zone bets of the day.
Just wait until we get a level playing field!

Jockeys

For the second week in a row I received emails slamming a couple of jockeys. No names but two of Melbourne’s most highly regarded hoops are less popular than politicians with some members.

I have analysed the jockeys’ performance on our Top-Rated Ratio $50+ qualifiers. Attached are two printouts:

Top-Rated Ratio betting 2017-2019: Jockeys

Jockeys by Number of Rides 1

You can see that since Jan 1st 2017, C Williams has had 63 Top-Rated Ratio rides ($50 or more). His profit of $12,087 from $9260 investment is sensational.
Of course you can study in much more depth in your free online spreadsheets that we provide.

Cheers
